Mid-summer Walk in Richmond Park
Join the fight with Cancer Research UK
On Saturday June 12th walkers will be joining the fight against cancer by walking through beautiful Richmond Park in all its summer glory. The main walk is 5km long. There is an option to walk or run round the whole Park for the energetic! This option is just over 10km. Both sponsored walks will start between 10 and 11 am at Broomfield Hill Car Park which is between Kingston and Robin Hood Gates.
The walk is being organised by local volunteer Dinah Hilbourne in memory or her nephew Will. Dinah said, “Will was very keen to further knowledge to beat cancer and Cancer Research UK shares that goal. Sadly we all know someone who has been touched by cancer. Organising the walk is my way of helping this great cause and getting more people involved in raising money and having fun.”
